Count Arco in the Mercedes-Benz SSK at the Semmering Hill Climb in 1929. Located south of Vienna, the Climb had first appeared on the event calendar in 1899, and in 1930 would become one of the European Mountain Championship events. In 1929 Count Arco finished first in the Sports Car Class, continuing the Mercedes-Benz domination of the event with the fourth of five winning years in succession.
