Peugeot had entered four cars in the Targa Florio of 1925 to be driven by Andre Boillot, who had won the event in 1919 for Peugeot, Christian d’Auvergne, Louis Wagner, and Victor Rigal. Peugeots dominated the early part of the race with Boillot leading, followed by Wagner and d’Auvergne. Wagner and Boillot would eventually finish second and third respectively. |
