It was his first victory since 1934 and he is seen here passing the fourth place finishing Auto Union. Driven by Austrian Hans Stuck at the start, it was later taken over by Bernd Rosemeyer who did another of his spectacular drives through the field to the finish fourth in the grueling round-the-houses classic. |
